He is done with Excuses. These thoughts cannot be contained any
longer. The emotions enclosed within must be released, at any cost.
There is no assertion is his voice, no confidence in his soul. But yet he
must pronounce with self-assurance what has been dwelling in his
heart. He must confess everything, or never sleep another full night. He
must sacrifice a little comfort, his precious security, to accomplish this.
His heart is confused by thoughts of rejection, a horrible notion that
feeds on his weaknesses when he needs his strength in this upcoming
moment of truth. He will take a gamble, releasing all his emotions,
leaving his heart unprotected and empty for the few seconds that feel
like eternity, to convey everything, and desperately hope that some of
those free flowing emotions will find their way back to his heart, in a
new form, touched by a bonding love. A bonding love, yes, the one and
only thing he would give his whole heart for.
And if his heart is thrown back in his face, life will still go on,… but life won't be the same…
